Ashley and Alan’s wedding day was a whirlwind of emotions and last-minute changes. With the forecast changing from partly cloudy to a 90% chance of rain within an hour before their ceremony, the amazing planning team and Paradise Fall’s staff all worked together to make the flip from the couple’s anticipated outdoor ceremony to the last minute indoor ceremony. Although it was a stressful and difficult decision for both Ashley & Alan to make the change (obviously they chose the venue for it’s beautifully tropical and lush landscape) they handled it like champs! I remember asking Alan how he felt about the flip and he said, “I am just so excited to finally marry Ashley,” which truly shows their love and excitement despite the weather putting a damper on their day. We still managed to get their portraits with the beautiful waterfall, mind you it was pouring rain and freezing so we kept it short which ultimately was okay for Ashley and Alan because they just wanted to dance with their loved ones and eat all the Ben & Jerry’s ice cream they could! It was truly such a special day and I am so grateful to have been a part of it.
