From beginning to end I will be your guide as we create a comfortable environment that translates into natural and beautiful photos filled with love and laughter, capturing moments you never want to forget.
AFTER BOOKING
I will send you a questionnaire to dive into the details of your day and your story as well as my wedding guide which includes a list of my favorite vendors to work with who produce quality work. You will also get essentially a mini wedding planner (ME!) who after years in the industry, has a ton of advice for your wedding day! For engagement sessions, I will help with planning, location scouting, golden hour lighting, and outfit recommendations.
WEDDING MONTH
I will create a photography timeline tailored to your unique day which includes a custom family shot list and an easy copy-and-paste vendor list. I will also be in contact with your coordinator for all of the last-minute details and send a little reminder of things not to forget for your big day. Expect me to be on top of it the day of, making sure everything flows smoothly and we get all of those must-have shots you have been dreaming of.
POST-WEDDING
I will send you a sneak peek of your wedding photo highlights no later than one-week post-wedding to hold you over until your full gallery is ready. Your full gallery will be delivered no later than 90 days from your wedding date which you will receive in an online gallery with all of your final high-res images for easy downloading, sharing, and printing.

Making sure you’re comfortable and confident throughout our entire time working together. I will give you plenty of direction and guidance but also be a fly on the wall capturing all of the beautiful, candid moments that unfold in your day.

Making sure your veil is flawless, your boutonniere is pinned on securely, and that I am getting all of your “good angles.”
I GOT YOUR BACK
Making sure your dress is always fluffed and doesn’t drag… or in some cases, I’ll even dive to make sure your train doesn’t get hit by a wave (true story).
AFTER BOOKING
I will help you start planning your shoot by helping you find the perfect location for the look you are going for and even sending over some outfit inspiration. We will chat about your story and get into the details about the important aspects of your story. Whether it's your engagement, family, maternity, boudoir, or lifestyle shoot, I will help guide you so you are ready and feel confident going into it.
DURING THE SHOOT
Throughout the entire session, I will help guide you to create a fun and playful experience! Don't know what to do with your hands? I got you. My approach incorporates direction and movement in a way that allows for not only classic intimate shots but also playful and candid moments where your love and relationship for your partner, yourself, or your kiddos really shines. Capturing exactly what this season of life looks like for you in an authentic and heartfelt way is my ultimate goal!
POST-SHOOT
After our shoot together you will get your full gallery within 1-2 weeks from your session date.

WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
My turnaround for full wedding galleries is typically 30 days in slower months (like January) and 30-90 days in busier months (like October). Smaller galleries like engagements are typically 1-2 weeks.

WILL WE GET PREVIEWS?
Absolutely! I share wedding sneak peeks typically 72 hours from your wedding date! That said, I usually don’t send sneak peeks of smaller shoots like family/engagements because my turnaround is typically a week for those full galleries.

HOW MANY PHOTOS DO WE GET IN A WEDDING GALLERY?
I typically deliver 100 photos per hour of coverage. So for example, in an 8-hour wedding, you can expect no less than 800 images. That said, there is no cap on the number of images I deliver and I typically over-deliver!

WHAT'S YOUR BOOKING PROCESS LIKE?
First, fill out the form on my booking page to get the ball rolling. Once received, we will schedule a call to go over all of the details together and get to know each other. After our call I will send a custom quote tailored to your photography needs. I book on a first come, first served basis. That said, I will place a soft hold on your wedding date for one week once I get a yes from you, but your wedding date will not be secured until I have received your contract and deposit. For all other shoots you will receive a custom quote and a session planning guide if I am available for your photo timeline.

WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?
I would describe my style as candid, warm, heartfelt, and timeless. I love capturing in-between moments by incorporating movement and creative prompting/posing during my shoots to capture fun, authentic, and beautiful images that illustrate your love. At weddings, I am mostly a fly on the wall capturing all of the special moments you may not have even noticed on top of the big moments that you want to remember. I am more direct when it comes to formal family photos and portraits, so don't worry if you don't know what to do with your hands or Aunt Sue, I got you!

DO YOU SHARE ANY RAW IMAGES?
You are hiring me not only to document your special day but to do all the behind-the-scenes work it takes to have a beautiful end product/gallery. This includes culling the images down to the best of the best, removing photos inconsistent with my artistic standards, fine-tuning all final images to edit out blemishes and stains, and aligning them with my editing style (as seen in my portfolio). I do not alter bodies other than retouching skin, and all of my posing is done in a strategic way to make you look your absolute best!

HAVE YOU SHOT AT OUR VENUE BEFORE? DOES IT MATTER?
I have shot at a ton of venues in Southern California, but there are hundreds of venues out here! That being said, if I have not shot at your venue before, I typically arrive early to walk through the venue and find the best places for lighting/photos. I also do my research on venues I haven’t shot at beforehand. If you want me to tag along for your venue walkthrough and it fits in my schedule, that’s always an option as well!

WHAT IF AN EMERGENCY HAPPENS AND YOU CAN'T MAKE OUR WEDDING?
If anything were to happen to me, I have systems in place that will be covered in our contract to make sure that you would be covered with an equally qualified photographer. Depending on the situation, I would still edit the images so that you would still receive photos with a consistent look to my work.

DO YOU CHARGE A TRAVEL FEE?
For anything less than 60 miles round-trip from San Diego, no. For anything in Southern California between 60-120 miles round-trip from San Diego, I charge per mile. For destination weddings or anything over 120 miles from San Diego, I typically require a round-trip flight for me and my second photographer (if included) and a minimum 2-night hotel stay.
